Last Tuesday, we witnessed the worst and extreme scenes of hooliganism in the most sacred house of Pakistan – the National Assembly. Several lawmakers even threw the copies of the budget at each other. The foul and filthy language that was used on the floor of the house should be condemned by all. Our lawmakers crossed all limits and turned the NA into a battleground. The nation elected these lawmakers so that they can work for the welfare of people. They were not elected to fight with each other.
Representatives of a civilised nation never resort to such inappropriate and immature behaviour. They always think about the welfare of their voters and the interest of the country. The government and the opposition should make efforts to maintain a peaceful atmosphere in the NA.
