LAHORE: Capital City Police Officer Ghulam Mahmood Dogar paid a surprise visit to the bereaved family of a three-year-old boy who died due to a stray kite string last Sunday. The heartbroken parents of the victim were caught in a bittersweet moment upon seeing the CCPO crossing the threshold of their humble abode. CCPO Lahore Ghulam Mahmood Dogar expressed condolences to the family on the loss of their child. He stated that this tragic incident caught everyone’s attention. He added that there was nothing that can compensate for the loss of a precious soul. He assured the bereaved family that the lethal sport of kite flying would be eliminated from the City. The father of the late Khizar said that no concession should be given on kite flying so that no one else's life was lost.
