CM House’s official car recovered

Defence police on Wednesday recovered a stolen Toyota Corolla GSA-087 from Korangi Industrial Area. Police Helpline 15 had received a complaint regarding the theft of a government vehicle from Phase-II Extension of Defence Housing Authority. Defence police took prompt action and recovered the vehicle from Korangi Industrial Area. The vehicle was handed over to the complainant, deputy secretary of the CM House, Riaz.

Suspect held

Police on Tuesday claimed to have arrested a suspect allegedly involved in the murder of a policeman in the old city area of Karachi. According to District City SSP Sarfaraz Nawaz, the suspect has been identified as Abdur Rehman. The officer said one pistol and seven mobile phones were also seized from his possession.
