Cop among two killed in Faisalabad accidents

FAISALABAD: Two people, including an Elite Force policeman, were killed and four others injured in two road accidents here.
In the first incident, Abid Masih of Chak 204/RB, Faisalabad, was killed while his two friends were seriously injured when a speeding car collided with their motorcycle on a village road. Police have registered a case against the car driver.
In the second incident, Elite Force policeman Tariq Alvi of Nadir Colony, Gojra, and his friends Ali Khan of Haveli Lakha and Saboor Khan of Dunyapur were coming to Gojra when their car overturned near Chak 98/JB. As a result, Tariq was killed on the spot while his friends were injured. The injured people were shifted to the Gojra Civil Hospital from where one of them was referred to the Faisalabad Allied Hospital due to his critical condition.
