SUKKUR: Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari and Aseefa Bhutto Zardari, daughters of former prime minister of Pakistan Benazir Bhutto, accompanied by MNA Faryal Talpur inaugurated the computerised domicile registration centre and construction work of the Darbar Hall at the office of deputy commissioner Larkana on Monday.
They visited different sections of the domicile branch and received briefing from Deputy Commissioner Larkana Javed Ali Jagirani on the new development and facilities. Later, Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari, Aseefa Bhutto Zardari and MNA Faryal Talpur inaugurated the pumping station of mega sewerage scheme at the Police Line Larkana.
Commissioner Larkana Ghulam Akbar Leghari briefed them on the progress of different schemes and apprised them of the mega drainage scheme. The project had started on January 2015 which would be completed by 2017; it was a long standing demand of Larkana residents to upgrade the sewerage system. MNA Faryal Talpur directed the concerned officials to ensure quality of work and that work should be completed in its stipulated time, no slackness in this regard will be tolerated.
They visited the several ongoing development schemes and reviewed the works being carried out at several areas, particularly Begum Nusrat Bhutto Girls’ Degree College which is being constructed at the cost of Rs131.979 million comprising 12 classrooms, science, computer labs and library and staff offices, works and services officials told.
MNA Faryal Talpur along with Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari and Aseefa Bhutto Zardari inaugurated several schemes including Circular Road Larkana Bypass connecting Larkana- Khairpur and the Girls’ High School at the Revenue Colony Larkana, which is being constructed with support of the Iran government.
