BANNU: The police claimed to have arrested two accused involved in the killing of three youths, whose mutilated bodies had recovered in Saddakhel locality of Bannu district.
Briefing media, District Police Officer Imran Shahid said that locals had spotted the bodies of three youths identified as Dost Muhammad, Muhammadullah and their friend Muhammad Ayaz.
On information from locals, he said a party of Domel police reached the area and recovered the bodies. The official said that no one could identify the bodies as they were badly mutilated. He said the police shifted the bodies to a rural health facility where they were kept for identification purposes for several hours after fulfilling the medico legal formalities.
He said the Domel police then registered a case against unknown killers under relevant sections of law and began investigation. He said after thorough scientific investigation, the police succeeded to arrest two accused identified as Muhammad Tahir and Rafiullah.
The DPO said that the remaining accused named Amir and Inamullah would be arrested soon. He said the police had also collected evidence from the crime scene on the information divulged by Rafiullah. The motive behind the killing was stated to be a monetary dispute.
