LAHORE:With a view to facilitating the visitors coming to the Institute of Public Health (IPH) for their diagnostic tests, a sample collection centre is being established at the main gate of IPH where the technical staff will be present to take the samples so the people would have no need to go inside the BSL-III laboratory situated at the backside of the institute.
The sample collection centre would be equipped with sitting arrangements, drinking water, washroom, etc. In a statement issued here on Wednesday, beside the sample collection centre, IPH Dean Prof Dr Zarfishan Tahir said, different development works had also been scheduled which included carpeting of roads inside the institute, renovation of washrooms attached with class rooms, renovation of kitchen of FCPS Hall, rehabilitation of class rooms of undergraduate students and technicians. Dr Zarfishan Tahir said that washrooms of the auditorium would also be renovated besides repair work in other class rooms and laboratory.
