PESHAWAR: Special Assistant to Chief Minister on Information and Higher Education Kamran Bangash Tuesday said that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf-led government was striving hard to provide maximum skills and employment opportunities to the youths as per the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan.

Speaking at a ceremony held in connection with signing of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish the first-ever Peshawar Youth Complex, he said that youth would be imparted training and skills about launching small businesses, obtaining loans besides recreational activities at the complex. Director Youth Affairs Salim Jan Marwat, Director Local Government Mian Shafiq signed the MOU.

Kamran Bangash said that the complex would house an art hall and incubation, skills training, research and documentation centres, where the youth would be provided opportunities to participate in education competitions, e-gaming and other healthy activities.

He said that the complex would also provide a platform to the youth to get together under one roof, share their ideas and find avenues for launching businesses.

Director Youth Affairs Salim Jan Marwat said the complex was being established with an aim to train the youths with latest skills to enable them to make their future bright.

He said it was the first complex being set up for the welfare of youths. The complex, he added, would also have a climbing wall, snooker club, chess and e-gaming centres. The district government would provide land while the provincial government would provide facilities to the complex.
