Ibrahim enters junior tennis semis

KARACHI: Top seed Ibrahim Iltifat confirmed his place in the semi-final of U18 singles event when he beat Talha Sohail in quarter-finals in PTF Development Series National Juniors tennis ranking championship at Union Club tennis courts here on Sunday.
Ibarhim recorded a convincing 6-3, 6-4 victory against Talha.
Dawar Rehan dropped a set before beating Eibad Sarwar Hussain 6-4, 2-6, 10-6.
Asad Khan overpowered Amin Shafi by 6-3, 6-0 score to advance into the semi-finals.
In men’s singles first round, Ibrahim recovered from a set down to beat Asad Khan by 2-6, 6-4, 10-8.
Aqeel Shabbir trounced Muhammad Dada 6-1, 6-1, while Fahad Khan defeated Abdullah Khan 6-2, 6-2.
