Izharul Haq, brother of Gen Ziaul Haq, dies

LAHORE: Muhammad Izhar Ul Haq (83), the youngest brother of former President of Pakistan Shaheed General Zia Ul Haq died here this evening at a local hospital. He was father-in-law of Dr Waqar Ch, former Director News Associated Press of Pakistan. He left behind a widow, three sons and daughters. He was paternal uncle of President PML (Zia) Muhammad Ejaz Ul Haq and maternal uncle of Col Abdur Rab, Khalid Hanif former federal secretary. All his sons Ibthasam Ul Haq, Abrar Ul Haq and Jawad Ul Haq are settled in the United States.
