OKARA: MPA Jugnu Mohsin on Monday escaped an attack on her life. On Sunday evening, she was addressing a public gathering in village Jhujh Kalan at the Dera of Haji Muhammad Abbas Jhujh where she announced a development package for the area. After her address when she boarded her car and moved to leave, some miscreants opened fire at her vehicle and damaged her vehicle with batons. But her driver quickly moved off.
An FIR has been lodged by the Hujra Shah Muqeem Police Station. Muhammad Yasin., s/o Sikandar Jhujh, of the same village and his six accomplices were nominated in the FIR. About two days ago, Yasin had threatened if Jugnu comes to the village for a public meeting, he would not let her leave alive.
