Over 2,000 cops for |polio drive in Mardan

MARDAN: More than 2000 cops have been deployed for the security of polio teams during the 5-day vaccination campaign that started in the district on Monday.
District Police Officer Zahidullah on Monday visited various parts of the district including mountainous far-off areas where he inspected security arrangements and met the polio workers and policemen on duty.
He distributed prizes to the policemen in mountainous areas of the district and asked them to be alert during the campaign. Meanwhile, Inspector-General of Police Sanaullah Abbasi visited an orphanage Al-Islah Welfare Centre in Mardan where he met the management and orphans lodged there.
