Five booked for girl’s murder

LAHORE:Five suspects have been booked in the murder of a teenage girl who was shot dead on her doorstep two days ago in the Ghaziabad police limits. Syed Shabbir Hussain, father of the victim, told the police that on the day of the incident he had left his house for a nearby paan shop. Meanwhile, three suspects identified as Lala Usman, Usama, Sheraz Ejaz and two unidentified suspects opened fire. As a result, his daughter identified as Sana Batool received bullet injuries and died. The suspects fled the scene while firing in the air. He said he had a conflict with the suspects, but reached reconciliation with the help of neighbours.
