The third wave
The third wave of Covid-19 is quite dangerous. Over the last couple of months, the number of deaths increased at a fast pace. It is good to note that the government has taken timely measures and imposed partial lockdowns in different areas to deal with the situation. However, many news reports suggest that a majority of people are not following SOPs.
People must pay attention to what the government is saying. We are fighting against the most lethal virus, and it is important for us to be extra careful.

We can contain the spread of the virus if we follow SOPs. At present, Pakistan is fighting the third wave of the virus. However, many people are still ignoring SOPs – especially at public places. People must cooperate with the government to bring the situation under control.
The authorities should also announce strict punishments for people who are flouting SOPs.
