Since last week, Karachi has been witnessing the worst form of loadshedding. Every night, at 1am, power goes out – and usually returns after almost two hours. In summer, loadshedding is a curse. Can the authorities look into the issue?
It is important to mention here that residents of Karachi have been facing the problem of unannounced loadshedding for many years now. Almost every year, residents are forced to spend sleepless nights. When will we be able to see a loadshedding-free Pakistan? How can we even think about progress and prosperity if we are deprived of one of the basic facilities? Who is going to deal with the country’s power crisis? The federal government must take notice of the issue.
