Punjab University to reopen on 7th
LAHORE:Punjab University will reopen on June 7 for MPhil and PhD coursework while the fifth and seventh semester sessions of BS will begin in September. A PU spokesperson said that online exams would continue after June 7 while BS and Masters final semester students will be able to complete research work on campus from June 7 with the permission of the relevant teachers. Punjab University will restore transport service from June 7 for the convenience of
students, concluded the spokesperson.
UHE exams from 14th: A meeting of heads of departments of University of Home Economics (UHE) was held here on Thursday. Several important decisions related to opening of new admissions, exams, annual budget and vaccination of teachers and staff were taken during the meeting which was chaired by Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Kanwal Ameen. It was decided that admissions would be opened for all programmes from mid-September while exams will be conducted physically from June 14. The meeting also discussed the launch of new academic programmes and ensuring COVID-19 vaccination to all teaching and non-teaching staff as per the government orders. It was also decided to formulate working plan vis-a-vis Alumni and Student Societies.
