MARDAN: Two women were shot dead in the limits of Garhi Kapura Police Station, police said on Thursday.
Gul Majeed, resident of Mohabbanda, told police that he was present at his home when someone informed him that the body of his daughter and another woman were lying at the hospital in Bala Garhi.
He added that he reached the hospital and identified the body of her daughter Amina. He told the police that his daughter had married Abbas, a resident of Mohibbanda, a few years back.
“Her husband started quarreling with her soon after the marriage and he even used to beat her,” he said. He accused Abbas of killing his wife and sister Mubina. The police arrested the accused and started an investigation.
