Traders pay tribute to Mardan police
MARDAN: Trader community of the district on Thursday paid tribute to Mardan police for their role in the corona lockdown and traffic management.
Office-bearers of the trader unions of various markets in Mardan called on the District Police Officer Dr Zahidullah Khan at his office on Thursday.
The trader leaders from New Adda and Sarfaraz Gun Bazaar, including Tanzeem Tajeran leader Ihsan Bacha, Shah Khalid, Shahzeb and others said that police played an active role during Ramazan, Corona lockdown and Eid days and assured their cooperation to the cops for peace in the district.
Speaking to the traders’ delegation, Dr Zahidullah said that traders have a key role in the economy of the country and they always cooperated with the police. He said the cops would also cooperate with the traders to facilitate them in their trade by ensuring law and order. Later, gifts and shields were distributed at the ceremony.
