PESHAWAR: Haji Gul Hassan, maternal grandfather of Yousaf Ali, staff reporter at The News, passed away after protracted illness in Mardan on Saturday.
His funeral prayer was offered at Moti Banda in Lundkhwar at 3pm. He was the father of Roohul Amin, father-in-law of Dr Abdul Ali, grandfather of Dr Mohammad Hussain, head of Paeds-C Unit at Lady Reading Hospital Peshawar, Hussain Ali, Ahmad Ali, Mardan College and Fazle Rahim, People’s Primary Healthcare Initiative (PPHI) Mardan. His Qul would be held at Moti Banda tomorrow.
