Cold and dry weather is expected in the provincial metropolis on Sunday (today) with very shallow fog in the early hours of the day. A shallow westerly wave is affecting western & upper parts of the country. Weather remained cold and dry in most parts of the country. However, light rain/snow occurred at a few places of Quetta division and Gilgit-Baltistan (Hunza, Skardu). The minimum temperature in the city was 4 degrees Celsius while that in the country was -10°C at Parachinar. Quetta received 1 inch of rain while traces of snowfall were recorded at Astore and Skardu. —Correspondent
