Producers’ body condemns incident at shoot site

KARACHI: United Producers Association (UPA) has strongly condemned the unfortunate incident that happened on Wednesday at a shoot location in Karachi where a security guard opened fire at the production staff.
The incident happened at 34/2 Khayaban-e-Shujaat, Phase 5, DHA. In a statement, the UPA demanded the authorities to take strict action against the culprit security guard and the owners of residence along with complete compensation for the injured staff. Meanwhile, FIR No 246/2021 had been lodged at the Clifton Police Station. Furthermore, the UPA has also banned the said location for all drama productions in the future.
