Jilted lover arrested for killing girl

The Zaman Town police claimed to have solved the murder case of a girl in Korangi and arrested a suspect on Tuesday. The gunshot body of 22-year-old Anita Kanwal, daughter of Azam, was found near a graveyard in Korangi on Monday, and a case was registered against unidentified persons. During the initial investigation, the suspect, namely Hassan Shah, confessed to the crime. The police said the suspect was the deceased’s neighbour, and they had been in a relationship for 12 years. He killed the girl after she jumped into another relationship after breaking up with Shah.
