KARACHI: The Additional District and Session Judge East Mahboob Ali Dayo awarded life sentence to two criminals on the assault and rape of 13 year old girl.
The Ansar Burney Trust International, on humanitarian grounds, provided the lawyer Asghar Ali Azad, Advocate to young girl who appeared in court and during trial period on behalf of victim requested for justice with the innocent girl, says a press release.
The victim was at her home in Shah Faisal Colony on 12th May from where her neighbour accused Muhammad Aijaz and Zafar Iqbal kidnapped the girl and took her in their house where after severe torture they both forcibly committed rape.
Later, the parents after lodging an FIR in a police station reached Ansar Burney Trust office at Arambagh Road, Karachi and met with former federal minister for human rights, Ansar Burney who provided lawyer to the victim family, who fought case in court.After hearing the court announced life sentence to Aijaz and Zafar with fine of 25,000 each after proving of assault and rape of minor girl.
