Milad preparations in full swing

KASUR: Eid Miladun Nabi (PBUH) preparations are in full swing and locals have decorated their houses, streets and bazaars with banners, bunting, flags and other embellishments with religious zeal and enthusiasm.
The main event of Eid Milad conference took place at Kasur Press Club under the president of the club and a big cake was also cut on the occasion.
DCO Muhammad Shahid, DPO Ali Nasir Rizvi, former DCO Adnan Arshed Olakh and others addressed the conference and highlighted different aspects of the life of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).
Later, Ashraf Wahla, chairman press club administered oath to the newly elected press club body.
On Thursday (today) several Milad processions will be taken out and the central procession will be taken out from NBP chowk, Circular road.
Foolproof security on Christmas Day

KASUR: The foolproof security has been planned for 179 churches of Kasur on the occasion of the Christmas Day.
According to DPO Kasur Ali Nasir Rizvi, police officers and the volunteers of the Christian community would perform their duties on the occasion. All circle officers and SHO’s will monitor movements of suspicious elements.
