Arrives in Lahore for World Milad moot
LAHORE: PAT chief Dr Tahirul Qadri arrived in Lahore on Tuesday morning from Canada via Istanbul, he was brought to the PAT Secretariat by party leaders and workers in a motorcade.
Talking to media at the airport, Qadri asked army and Rangers not to remain engaged in confrontation on the powers of Rangers in Sindh, and pay attention to the case of 14 bodies of PAT workers and 85 wounded lying unattended in Lahore for the last one year.
He said only the judicial commission report on Model Town tragedy remained unpublished in the country while all other inquiry reports had been published. He said rulers of federation and Sindh were protecting each other to cover up their corruption and the antagonistic statements from both sides were part of a written script. He said country was deeply trapped in corruption and ruling elite were making money from every possible opportunity and running the state as family business.
He alleged that corruption money was being used to promote terrorism in the country. He said those who should be in jails were sitting in the assemblies and power corridors. He invited all faithful to attend the world Milad Conference at Minar-e-Pakistan today (Wednesday) and said his main purpose of his visit was to address this conference.
