Celebrating Sindh
Sindh Culture Day was recently observed on December 13 by Sindhis all across the world. People expressed their love for their culture and demanded efforts towards the preservation of their cultural heritage. Interestingly, it was celebrated not just by Sindhi Muslims, but by people of all religions inside as well as outside of Sindh. This shows that there is a vast group of people in the country that does not want to create chaos in the name of religion or sects and can rise above petty differences.
Appreciating important events of local cultures is vital in highlighting the positive aspects of Pakistan and allowing the world to see the nation in a softer light. Similar events should be encouraged and celebrated in the future.
