Spurious tea seized, two arrested

FAISALABAD: Anti-adulteration Task Force seized 30 maund spurious tea by unearthing a fake tea factory and arrested two accused in the area of Raza Abad police station.
Chairman Task Force Hajji Khalid Saeed MPA along with his team, on a tip-off, conducted raid at Torakiyanwala and unearthed a fake tea factory.
The raiding team seized 30 maund spurious and unhygienic tea and other material from the spot besides sealing the factory and arresting Mukhtar Ali resident of Torakiyanwala and Aftab Ahmad of Peshawar.
The accused were handed over to Raza Abad police which started investigation by locking the accused behind bar and registering a case against factory owner Jahanzaib Khan.
