Medical colleges in Sindh require potential candidates to take an entry test conducted by the NTS. This test is a do or die option as students eying admission in any medical school in the province have to pass this one step. Sometimes those who are qualified end up failing because of the limited number of seats in their district. What is the fault of the students in this entire scenario? They have worked hard their entire lives just to be disappointed by this one test. Is this what they deserve?
Why can’t the medical universities take the entry tests on their own? That would create a much more efficient system and provide opportunity to those candidates who deserve the positions.
