After the fateful attack on the Army Public School last year, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has decided to rename government schools after those children who were martyred by terrorists.
However, it would be more appropriate if the army, in collaboration with the provincial or federal governments, established a school system called the APS Education Foundation. In this system, children from middle and lower classes could be provided free education and helped to develop a mindset against extremism and terrorism.
