Two youths suffocate to death in Lahore

LAHORE: Two youths suffocated to death in a fire that broke out in a garments factory in the Ravi Road area on Wednesday. The victims were identified as Awais, 21, and Mehran, 18. It was reported that the two boys were asleep when the fire broke out in the factory in Tauheedabad, Ravi Road. Police said they had been working at the factory for the past few months. The fire-fighters rushed to the spot, but by the time they managed to enter the building, the two Awais and Mehran had died in a room. Cause of fire was yet to be established. Bodies were shifted to the morgue.
