Thieves burgle 18 shops in one go

GUJRANWALA: Thieves stole valuables from 18 shops on Jinnah Road on Tuesday night.
The thieves entered the shops and stole cash and valuables. The next morning, when shopkeepers came to know about the incident, they staged demonstrations against police in front of the RPO and CPO offices. They were chanting slogans against police. They alleged that Jinnah Road police had failed to perform duty. They demanded immediate arrest of the thieves.
Kills sister for ‘honour’

GUJRANWALA: A man killed his sister for honour in Civil Lines police limits on Wednesday.
Yasin doubted the character of his sister Misbah. On the day of the incident, Yasin allegedly gunned down his sister Misbah. Police have registered a case and started investigation.
18 suspects held in search operation

GUJRANWALA: The law-enforcing agencies and police arrested 18 suspects during a search operation in areas around railway station and passport office. All the suspects were shifted to an unknown place for interrogation.
