Pickets to implement wearing face masks

LAHORE:District Administration Lahore has directed all Assistant Commissioners to start holding pickets with the help of police to enforce implementation of wearing face masks from today (Wednesday). The decision was taken by Deputy Commissioner Mudassar Riaz here on Tuesday. Officials said the DC issued strict instructions to all Assistant Commissioners for setting up pickets at various city localities with the help of police and MCL officials. He said masks should also be provided to the senior citizens at the pickets. He said pickets should be established outside entry points of main commercial hubs and other busy areas.

20 businesses sealed: The district administration continued its operation against the violations of corona related SOPs and sealed over 20 shops, stores and marriage halls here on Tuesday. Deputy Commissioner Mudassar Riaz said over 20 shops, stores and marriage halls were sealed and Rs 6,500 fine was imposed on the violators.
