Shadab XI win intra-squad 50-overs practice match
LAHORE: Shadab XI won the first intra-squad 50-overs practice match by four wickets against Babar XI here at the Gaddafi Stadium.
Shahab XI chased down the revised target of 320 runs in 46 overs. Opener Fakhar Zaman scored 109 runs off 82 balls with four sixes and 10 fours while former captain Sarfraz Ahmed scored 58* (retired out).
For Babar XI, pacer Haris Rauf bagged 2/58 while left-arm wrist spinner Faisal Akram took 2/56.
Babar XI scored 289 runs for the loss of seven wickets after they were asked to bat first by Shadab.
Opener Imam-ul-Haq scored 91 while skipper Babar Azam made 83. Saud Shakeel contributed 40 while Mohammad Rizwan and Haris Rauf made 23 each.
Shahnawaz Dahani bagged three wickets for 39 while Shaheen Shah claimed two wickets for 43 runs.
