16 doctors interviewed for MS slot

The Search Committee headed by Adviser to Chief Minister on Health, Kh Salman Rafique interviewed 16 doctors for appointment as medical superintendents of five hospitals.
According to a handout issued here on Wednesday, the members of the Search Committee include Secretary Health Jawwad Rafique Malik, retired bureaucrat Mehr Jevan Khan, Vice-Chancellor of University of Health Sciences Major General (R) Dr Muhammad Aslam, Prof Eice Muhammad and Health Consultant Dr Naeem-ud-Din Mian. Special Secretary Medical Education and Specialised Institutions Gulzar Hussain, Special Secretary Secondary and Primary Healthcare Dr Sajid Chauhan, Additional Secretary Health (Establishment) Ijaz-ul-Haq, Deputy Secretary Ahmed Kamal Maan and Muhammad Umer were present on the occasion.
The committee interviewed senior doctors for appointment as Medical Superintendents (MS) in Jinnah Hospital, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, Aziz Bhatti Shaheed Hospital, Gujrat, Kidney Centre, Multan and teaching hospitals of Sahiwal and Sialkot.
Health Adviser Kh Salman Rafique said that notification for appointment of the doctors for the post of medical superintendents will be issued within a day or two.
