Rally held in support of Chitral police

CHITRAL: The students of various educational institutes and traders union workers staged a rally in support of the police for their efforts to maintain law and order and eradication of narcotics in the district.
Led by Jamaat-i-Islami (JI) Nazim Ishfaq Ahmed, the students of the Government Degree College, Chitral Public School, Government Commerce College and workers of Trader Union took out a rally from Jughoor Chowk attended at Chitral Bazaar. They were carrying placards and banners and chanted slogans in support of the district police.
Speaking on the occasion, Maulana Fazl Khaliq, Ziaul Islam, Tehsil Councillor and others said that the police were performing their duty devotedly against the anti-social elements in the district.
They said that the police were reaching out to rescue and help of the common people as well as assisting the law-enforcement agencies to maintain peace in the district.
