Two women inflicted injuries

CHAKWAL: Two women were attacked and injured on Tuesday in Chabbar village in the area of Dhuman police station.
Muhammad Yusuf told police that Ayub, Tanzeela Maqsood, Shazia Ayub, Nazia Waqar, Mehboob Niaz and Mansoor Ghaffar attacked his house and injured his daughter and daughter-in-law.
FOOLPROOF SECURITY FOR HINDU YATREES: District Police Officer (DPO) Dr Moeen Masood Tuesday said foolproof security arrangements for the Hindu Yatrees are finalised.
The Yatrees would visit Kattas Raj, district Chakwal, on December 11 and would stay for three days.
The DPO stated this at the DCO committee room while addressing a meeting in this regard.
The meeting was presided over by DCO Mehmood Jawaid Bhatti.
Deputy secretary evacuee trust board Faraz Abbas, AC Choa Saidan Shah Samina Naizi and officers of relevant departments also attended the meeting. The DCO said special arrangements would be made so that the Hindus Yatrees would feel comfortable during their stay.
STOLEN CAR RECOVERED: Kallar Kahar police Tuesday recovered a stolen car from Lahore and arrested its thief.
Sub Inspector Tariq Mehmood on a tip-off checked a car (LEG 2217) that was stolen from Sanda police station Lahore and it was told that the car was parked in the service area Kallar Kahar on the Motorway. The SI raided and recovered the car. The accused driver Dilawar Hameed of Lahore was also arrested.
