Apex committee meeting tomorrow

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah would preside over a meeting of the provincial apex committee scheduled to be held at the CM House on Tuesday.
Security arrangements with respect to Chehlum Imam Hussain (RA) and the upcoming local bodies elections would be reviewed at the meeting.
According to official sources the meeting would be attended by Director General Sindh Rangers, Inspector General of Sindh Police, chief secretary and secretary home.
The meeting comes following Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan’s statement on Saturday which called for the Karachi operation to be expedited in the coming days.
The minister stated the government was ready to address the PPP and MQM’s reservations on the Karachi operation. He said the situation in the metropolis had changed a lot since the launch of the targeted action in, 2013.
