Dir police arrest five murder accused

HARIPUR: Three persons, including a girl, died in separate incidents in the city here on Saturday.
An unemployed youth committed suicide in the limits of Serai Saleh Police Station.
The police said Ahsan, 17, resident of Ali Khan village, shot himself with a pistol at his home. He was removed to the hospital where he succumbed to injuries.
According to family sources, Ahsan was unmarried and he used to be upset due to unemployment.
Meanwhile, a five-year-old girl died of suffocation while playing with a swing. The police said that Saira was playing with a swing when she got entangled with a piece of cloth and died of suffocation.
In separate incident, a farmer died when his tractor fell over him. Abdul Ghayyur, resident of Shah Maqsood, was ploughing the fields when his tractor turned turtle and he came under it.
Dir police arrest five murder accused: The police claimed to have arrested all the main five accused in a blind murder case of a trader, Jamilullah, who was killed by unknown robbers a few days back.
“The police also recovered all the looted amount of Rs6 million from the possession of the accused, along with two pistols, one rifle, and a car used in the incident,” Lower Dir DPO Qasim Ali Khan told a press briefing at Ouch Police Station on Saturday.
He added that the police traced the accused from the data of a suspected mobile SIM card, with technical support from secret agencies.
The accused were identified as Mujeebur Rahman from Ouch, Anwar Ali from Timergara, Noorul Haq from Kohistan and Yousaf and Haqdar of Mandezo area in Charsadda.
He lauded the efforts of in-charge of the Ouch Police Station Said Zaman Shah, DSP Hidayatullah Shah, in-charge investigation Inspector Naeem Khan and other police officials who worked hard as a team and succeeded in tracing the culprits within 24 hours.
