The speakers at a conference on Wednesday lauded the role of Saudi Arabia and organisations like Rabita Alam-e-Islami in making efforts for forging unity among Muslim Ummah.
The conference on ‘Role of Saudi Arabia for unity in Muslim Ummah’ was organised by Jamiat Ahle-e-Hadith. The conference was addressed by the Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Muhammad Yousuf, Secretary General of Rabita Alam-e-Islami Dr. Abdullah Bin Abdul Hasan Al Turki, Amir Jamiat Ahle-Hadith Senator Professor Sajid Mir, Naib Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Mian Muhammad Aslam and others.
Dr. Abdullah Bib Abdul Hasan said that the governments and people of Pakistan and Saudi Arabia enjoy special and exemplary relations. He said the two countries would always remain in the fore front of efforts in forging unity in the Muslim Ummah
The speaker observed that the role of Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and Turkey has always been effective in forging unity among Muslims all over the country.
They said that the services of Rabita Alam-e-Islami of Makka Al Mukarrama for protection of rights of Muslims elsewhere in the country has always been laudable. They said that Saudi Arabia had always sided with oppressed when there are conflicts in Muslim countries.
They said the people of Pakistan and Government would always stand behind Saudi Arabia in all difficult times.
