Punjab Food Authority (PFA) has reverted back to its normal working and intensify its ‘drive’ against small and medium food outlets to stop adulteration in the provincial capital.
According to a press release issued here Monday, PFA’s Samanabad Town team sealed Chacha Rafique and Usman Hotel for operating without business license. Other than this, the team also sealed Danyal Pan Shop and Ali Pan Shop on Bund Road on the same grounds. The team also sealed Tahir Chanye Wala and Sher Rabbani Milk Shop for improper cleanliness conditions and absence of food license. Nishtar town’s team seal Lahori Broast and Sonu Gee Pan Shop in Kahna while imposed fine on Madni Sarkar Hotel for unhygienic conditions. Ravi Town’s team sealed Malik Kashif traders, Mudasar Usman Imlye Walye, Zohaib traders and Bismillah Traders in Akbari Mandi for different violations. Gulberg Town team sealed Alsheikh Dahi Bhalye, Ghazi Burger Point, Times Shwarma, Mashallah Shwarma and Subhan Karachi Paratha Role for various violations of food safety laws. In Allama Iqbal Town, PFA team sealed Hidayat Samosa Corner for unhygienic conditions while imposed fine on Seesh Mehal and Lahore Castle banquet Halls for improper cleanliness conditions.
