Tribute paid to Faiz Ahmed Faiz

In connection with death anniversary of legendary poet Faiz Ahmed Faiz, Majlis-e-Faiz Ahmed Faiz, Josh Adabi Foundation in collaboration with Rawalpindi Arts Council arranged literary conference here on Friday.
Cultural Counselor of China Embassy Zheng Guojin was chief guest while Chairman Faiz Ahmed Faiz, Majlis-e-Faiz Ahmed Faiz presided over the conference which was also attended by Resident Director Waqar Ahmed and Farrukh Jamal.
Addressing at the conference, Cultural Counselor of China Embassy Zheng Guojin said Faiz Ahmed was a great poet who preached peace and love for which he was popular among other countries. Majlis-e-Faiz Ahmed Faiz Chairman Dr Ghaznafer Mehdi paid rich tribute to legendary poet and threw light on his life and poetry.
