KHAR: A jirga on Thursday resolved an old enmity between two tribes of Salarzai tehsil of Bajaur Agency.
The jirga to resolve the 12-year-old enmity between Malik Gul Aram of Fatehkhel and Malik Gul Roz of Kakakhel tribes was held at the residence of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) Bajaur Agency chief and former Senator Maulana Muhammad Rasheed.
Both tribes are the sub-clans of Salarzai tribe of Bajaur Agency. The rivals hugged each other and pledged to live peacefully in future. The jirga was effective for quite some time to resolve the enmity between the two tribes that had been claimed six lives from both the sides.
