KOHAT: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) activists tortured a traffic warden in Jronda Chowk near PAF Base on Wednesday, official sources said.
They said that a traffic warden Muhammad Ali was performing duty when he asked the PTI activists to remove their vehicle. After exchanging harsh words, the PTI activists manhandled and injured him by hitting him on his head.
Other traffic wardens reached the spot and rushed him to the District Headquarters Hospital in Kohat.
The police arrested Mujahid Khan, Hameedullah, Adnan and Shakirullah and started investigation after registering the case. The arrested persons are relatives of the PTI local leader Aftab Alam.
