UVAS contests

LAHORE
The Qirat and Naat Society of the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahore arranged Naat-Qirat contests here on Tuesday.
In Qiraat contest (boys) Hafiz Atique-ur-Rehman got 1st position, Abdullah got 2nd while Hafiz Muhammad Zaid and Hafiz Muhammad Rauf both stood third. In Qiraat girls contest, Bisma Idrees got 1st position, Ayesha Nawaz got 2nd position and Harram Bakhsh got 3rd position.
In Naat Contest, Rehan Ashraf got 1st position, Muhammad Mubeen got 2nd and Iqra Jawed got 3rd postion.At the concluding ceremony Prof Dr kamran Ashraf gave away shields among the winners of the contests. Meanwhile the UVAS’ Center for Education Policy and Administration (CEPA) in collaboration with the United States Educational Foundation in Pakistan (USEFP) organised GRE Fulbright Orientation Seminar for its final year students and faculty members on Tuesday. (CEPA) President Prof Dr Nasim Ahmad chaired the inaugural session while USEFP Principal Adviser Test Preparation Zeeshan Rahat Qureshi was the resource person of the seminar.
