PML-N Hafizabad chief, 24 others booked for torturing TMA employees

HAFIZABAD: City police have registered a case against 25 PML-N activists, including the party city president, on the charge of torturing TMA employees.
According to the FIR, PML-N city president Khalid Mehmood Butt, who was also a candidate for councillor slot from Ward No-41, had displayed huge flexes in violation of the election code of conduct.
When the TMA employees tried to remove the flexes, Khalid Mehmood Butt, his son Osama Butt, Babar Khan, Muhammad Imran, Sajjad and 20 others allegedly tortured them. Police have arrested three accused Babar Khan, Sajjad and Muhammad Imran.
Meanwhile, police have also registered another case against Khalid Mehmood Butt and his son Osama Butt on the charge of injuring PTI worker Muhammad Azam Sheikh.
