HAFIZABAD: A man was shot dead at Jurian village on Wednesday.
Some unidentified accused entered the house of Tanveer Abbas, s/o Sher Muhammad, and shot him dead. Kasoke police have registered a case.
WAPDA EMPLOYEES PROTEST: The Wapda employees on Wednesday observed a complete strike against the proposed privatisation of the company.
The Wapda employees also staged a sit-in at Chak Chattha, which was led by Malik Shafqat Mahmood. The protesters chanted slogans against the proposed privatisation and demanded immediate with drawl from the decision.
MAN HELD: Jalalpur Bhattian police on Wednesday arrested a man for displaying arms during the election campaign at Rasoolpur Tarar.
The police arrested Intisar Hussain, s/o Muhammad Yousaf, after registering a case against him.
THEFT: A theft incident was reported here on Wednesday.
Thieves broke into the shop of Mudassar at Mohallah Ali Town and stole Rs 100,000 from the shop.
