PESHAWAR: Governor Sardar Mahtab Ahmad Khan has said no effort would be spared to provide facilities to the people at their doorsteps. An official handout said the governor visited Khera Gali and Berot areas in the provincial assembly constituency PK-45 in Abbottabad and announced several uplift schemes.Sardar Mahtab announced the establishment of a degree college for boys and a water supply scheme. The governor also inaugurated three roads in the constituency. The roads had been built at a cost of Rs210 million. These included the Jandal to Lower Pluk road, Jewamar to Lower Surajall road and Kahu to Jalian road. Speaking at separate gatherings, Sardar Mahtab said the government was committed to undertaking uplift activities to develop the country. He said peace would be restored by defeating terrorism in all its forms and manifestations. The governor said that efforts were being made to create job opportunities and put the country on the path to progress. He thanked the provincial government for providing funds for the construction of the roads.Member Provincial Assembly Sardar Farid Ahmad Khan, District Council member Sardar Shamoon Khan and others were present on the occasion.
