KARACHI: The Office Bearers of the Association of Builders and Developers (ABAD) in a statement expressed their heartfelt sorrow and shock over the Lahore tragedy where 19 laborers were killed and over 70 injured due to collapse of 4-story Building in the Sunder industrial area.
They said that each member of ABAD equally shares the grief of the deceased family and prayed for the early recovery of the injured persons.
In a statement issued from ABAD its Chairman, Muhammad Hanif Gohar, Senior Vice Chairman, Muhammad Arif Jeewa,Vice Chairman, Muhammad Rizwan Adhia and Chairman southern Region, Asif Sum Sum said that all out efforts should be made to recover safely the persons who are still buried under the derbies. They demanded from the Government that appropriate monetary help should be provided to the heirs and best possible medical facilities and treatment be given immediately to the injured persons.
They also highly appreciated the untiring and timely efforts of the Rescue workers, NGOs and particularly Pak Army Engineering Core team and the District Administration of Lahore in recovering the bodies and injured from the derbies.**
