FAISALABAD: A man killed his sister for honour at Chak 279/GB on Thursday.
Muhammad Boota doubted the character of his sister Kausar Bibi. On the day of the incident, Boota allegedly shot his sister dead. Police have registered a case and started investigation.
LAWYER INJURED: A lawyer was injured by the firing of unidentified motorcyclists at Chowk Jhal on Thursday.
Syed Nisar Ali Shah was going to the district courts when the assailants opened fire on his car. As a result, the window pans of the car were smashed, which caused injuries to the lawyer. The lawyer did not stop his car and drove it away to the Civil Hospital where he was under treatment. Police are investigating.
Three impersonators held

FAISALABAD: Police arrested three impersonators at Chak 239/RB.
Police received information that Zahid, Zulfiqar and Shahid in police uniform were threatening villagers and extracting huge amount from them after blackmailing them.
Following the information, police raided and arrested the three impersonators. Police have registered a case under Sections 171, 172, 506, 186, 147 and 149 of the PPC and started investigation.
