DASKA: A youth tried to commit suicide over a domestic issue in the area of Satra police limits on Wednesday.
Shahzad exchanged harsh words with his father and took poisonous pills. He was taken to hospital when his condition started to deteriorate.
VALUABLES SNATCHED: Dacoits Wednesday snatched cash, gold ornaments and a cellphone from a man in the area of Satra police.
Sikandar was sleeping at home when three gunmen entered the house and took the family hostage and took away cash, gold and a cellphone.
FAKE CHEQUE: The Satra police booked a man on the charges of issuing a fake cheque. Amjad Farooq had given a loan to Usman. When he demanded his amount back, he was given a cheque that was bounced by bank.
